This Meeting of the Minds is not only an opportunity for students to present their projects, but also for faculty and administrators from across the ACC to share information about conducting undergraduate research. Faculty and administrators are encouraged to submit abstracts for this Best Practices session and panel discussion. Abstracts for Faculty sessions will be turned in to the Conference Committee along with the student submissions information, due on Feb. 15, 2008.
Faculty Presentation Session:
"Best Practices in Undergraduate Research Programs"
The format of the session will be multiple 10-minute presentations highlighting the best practices of the undergraduate research programs at your institution, followed by a panel discussion to address audience questions. In addition, poster space will be designated to display information about undergraduate research and graduate program opportunities at the ACC universities. Please indicate on the Faculty Call for Papers form your intent to bring information about your programs in poster format. |
