Degree in Three is a special program designed to assist students who wish to graduate in less than four years. It is most appropriate for students who enter the university with college credits earned through dual enrollment or through credit by exam, especially if those credits relate to their majors of choice.
Though FSU cannot guarantee that you will be able to graduate in three years, Degree in Three will provide you with the tools that you will need to determine if this is right for you and, if so, to plan and implement a program of studies.
High school students are strongly encouraged to contact Katie Grissom, Degree in Three Coordinator for help in planning high school courses that will complement their intended college majors.
FSU students must first attend a required information meeting (see below for times) where you will learn more about the program, You will then meet with a departmental Degree in Three Advisor to discuss whether “Degree in Three” will work for you and to complete the two forms (see below) required to join the program. You will then submit the completed forms to the Degree in Three office and we will welcome you to the program.
Students interested in participating in the Degree in Three Program are required to attend ONE of the following meetings. At this meeting, we will explain everything you need to know about the program and will distribute important information.
We have tried to schedule these meetings at a variety of times to accommodate everyone'’s schedule. If, however, it is impossible for you to attend any of these meetings, please contact Katie Grissom to make other arrangements:
