Alice Wright |
Alice Wright earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1982, followed by her Master of Science degree in 1983; both degrees were in Communication and from the Florida State University. In 1984 Ms. Wright joined the staff of Florida State working as a recruiter for the Office of Admission. She later joined the staff of the Office of Undergraduate Studies as Assistant Director and currently serves as the Assistant to the Dean of Undergraduate Studies and University Ombudsperson.
In addition to her duties for the Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Ms. Wright directs the Freshmen Interest Group program. Ms. Wright won the University Advising Award and continues to work with students that have been placed in the Dean's ICU and outreach initiatives.
Ms. Wright's favorite personal interests are her husband and three children. She enjoys going to their varied sporting events and Saturday outings. She is active in the Tallahassee Homeless Coalition and with her church. Her favorite place to be is at the beach. She loves to bake, walk and swim. Most astoundingly, she is one of eleven children, all of whom attended Florida State. In total there have been over 20 FSU diplomas awarded to members of her immediate family.
