Nikki Raimondi

Nikki currently serves as the Academic Dean for lower division students and handles the day-to-day functions of the Dean’s office. She also will provide oversight for the advising services provided by the Division of Undergraduate Studies and serves on many campuswide committees concerned with academic policy, student success and student retention.

Nikki is originally from the mountains of North Carolina. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University, and her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Kentucky. In 2001, she completed her Ph.D. from the College of Human Sciences here at FSU and began working as an advisor in the College of Social Work. She worked as an advisor in the College of Social Work for almost 2 years until she moved into the position of Associate Director with the Advising First program in Summer of 2003. In Fall 2009, Nikki became the Co-Director of Advising First, and in Spring 2011, she was promoted to Director of the program.

Nikki and her husband, Damien, have lived in Tallahassee since 1997. They have two children…Kylie Rose born in 2005 and Kalyn Nicole born in 2007.
