Ms. Robin Black

Robin Black received her B.S. from FSU in 1997 and her J.D. from the FSU College of Law in 2000. She is a partner at Pearson, Doyle, Mohre & Pastis, where she concentrates her legal practice on civil litigation and administrative matters involving health care providers. During her career, she has extensive experience in medical malpractice, long term care, and insurance defense litigation. In addition to trial and administrative matters, Robin enjoys appellate work and has had the opportunity to argue before the Florida Supreme Court and 4 of Florida’s 6 District Courts in appellate proceedings. Her clients cover the entire State of Florida from Pensacola to Miami.

While at FSU, Robin was involved on campus in Seminole Ambassadors, Student Alumni Association and served as President of her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. In law school, Robin had the opportunity to compete on the College of Law’s Moot Court team. She ultimately served as President of the Moot Court Team, winning both the Vandercreek and Stern awards during her time at law school.

Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Robin grew up in Lakeland, Florida and currently resides in Orlando, Florida. While at FSU, she was a member of the Honors Program which was her initial introduction to the many impactful programs supported by FSU and the UGS Council, including support for first generation college students, the Honors Program, and the Office of National Fellows.
