Shannon Libbert

Shannon Libbert was born in Tallahassee while her father obtained his PhD.  Her family moved to Pensacola when she was very young.  Subsequently, she has spent her entire life in either Pensacola or Tallahassee.  When it came time to apply for college in the late 80’s, Shannon saw only one option and she returned “home”.  She has undergraduate degrees in political science and criminology and a master’s degree in public administration-all from FSU.  She holds graduate certification in human resource management with a specialization in healthcare administration.

She is currently a Senior Partner with Kingsley Gate Partners and leads the Global Healthcare Services Practice. She brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare consulting to serve clients.  Her executive search practice focuses on identifying diverse talent to fill clinical and operational leadership roles in health systems, academic medical centers, medical practices and private equity-backed healthcare technology and services organizations. Prior to joining Kinsley Gate Partners, Shannon led the healthcare human resources practice at Korn Ferry. Additionally, she has spent many years leading human resources and national partnerships in the award-winning healthcare consulting firm, Studer Group. Her extensive experience in the healthcare sector and her background as a CHRO make her particularly skilled in assisting complex organizations maintain high levels of engagement during times of continuous change. Her background in consulting and advising on selection and retention, leadership development, mergers and acquisitions, integration and change management make her a frequently sought out strategic partner.

When she is not traveling for work, Shannon spends most of her time in Pensacola where she is an active member of Impact 100, the Greater Pensacola Seminole Club and serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the Heart Ball.  She and her husband, Jason are also supporters of the University of West Florida athletics department (Jason pitched for the Argos while in college).  She was honored to serve on the FSU Alumni Association’s National Board of Directors and the Libberts are inaugural members of the Bowden Society.  They are most proud of their teenage son, Zane, an avid angler, and former youth wrestler entering high school where he’ll play football and lift weights.   In their spare time, they are most likely making memories on the water with their family fishing team, Double Juicy Fishing.
