The Office of Undergraduate Studies (A3400 University Center) acts as the academic dean’s office for students not yet admitted to a major. It offers guidance on:
Dropping and adding classes
Personal hardships
Medical/mental health drops and withdrawals
Academic standing (academic probation or dismissal)
Requests for S/U grading
Core FSU requirement questions
Transfer credit evaluations
Transient coursework applications
AA applications
The office also tracks progress toward major admission and facilitates the transition to the student’s graduating dean’s office.
