Many Unconquered Scholars have faced profound hardships during childhood that may increase their risk of leaving college without a degree. In fact, research indicates former foster youth are far less likely to earn a degree than their non-foster care peers. Florida State University offers students both flexibility and funding opportunities that enable them to explore their full range of interests both within and beyond their proposed or declared fields of study.
