Cara has worked around the world on Purpose and creating an emotional case for change. She joined BrightHouse after an exciting career in Chicago politics and a brief stint in academia. At BrightHouse Cara leads international client projects and our Purposeful Data effort. She has experience working on a wide range of BrightHouse project and particularly enjoys discovering the tailored solutions needed to institutionalize good for decades to come.
Before starting a career in Purpose consulting, Cara was a squeaky wheel in Chicago’s political machine, working for Richard Daley, Rahm Emmanuel and President Barack Obama most humorously as a “Gift Analyst” for the White House. She is a strong believer in failing fast and failing forward, coming to BrightHouse after deciding to leave a PhD in Finance.
Cara currently lives in Milan, Italy with an economist husband and three future race-car-driving sons. She considers herself a hobbyist, with wheel throwing, hip-hop dancing, ballet and triathlons having come and gone over the years
