Chris Faron currently serves as the Lead Veterinarian at Ark Animal Hospital in Pace, Florida.
He has received multiple accolades for his leadership and work, including being selected as a 2020
InWeekly Rising Star for the Pensacola area. He is an active member of a local Mardi Gras Krewe
and with the Krewe participates in various volunteer work in the Pensacola area to benefit local residents. Chris is also an active member of the Greater Pensacola Seminole Club, where he has held multiple leadership positions including serving at the At-Large Board Member and currently serving as Treasurer.
He graduated from Florida State in 2011 with a Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree as a first-generation student. While at Florida State he was active in Greek Life as a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity where he held multiple leadership positions. He was also an active volunteer, participating in multiple Dance Marathons, in which he stood and danced for 32 hours straight to help raise money for Children's Medical Network. He also volunteered at the Tallahassee Museum where he assisted in doing enrichment activities for the various local species of animals housed there.
After graduating from Florida State University, he attended Auburn University where he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. During his time at Auburn, he mentored Florida State undergraduate students from a distance who were interested in pursuing a career in Veterinary Medicine by answering questions about veterinary school, the application process, and the veterinary career, as well as helping them to prepare for their interviews for veterinary school and reviewing their curriculum vitae and resumes. He also served as the Student Government representative for the College of Veterinary Medicine and served as an ambassador for the College of Veterinary Medicine, giving tours to prospective students and families, and appearing at community events to represent the College.
Chris is married to Jennifer Hill Faron. They met while attending Florida State through Greek Life activities. They have one child, Greer. They are both members of the Florida State University Alumni Association and Seminole Boosters. When they are not cheering on the Seminoles, they enjoy traveling and spending time enjoying the beaches in Pensacola.
